SUPPORTING CHARITIES AND FUND RAISING
As a church school we have a strong ethos of thinking of others especially those less fortunate than ourselves both locally, nationally and internationally.
We promote a culture of helping and encourage our pupils to have a sense of awareness by supporting a number of charities through fundraising events during the year. We support national campaigns such as Children in Need, Comic Relief, Fair Trade and natural disasters like Nepal, seeds for Africa, Operation Christmas Child while also demonstrating concern for local charities like Plant Dewi and the Air Ambulance.
At Penboyr School we feel that our small contribution can help to make a difference to others and are proud to be involved in helping to raise money for such worthy causes.
